The Ithilmar Phalanx is a new US guild recruiting all players that have the core traits of Honor, Respect, and Loyalty. No one will be turned down, but there will be a 7 day probation period, in order to let other guild members and guild leaders become accustomed to the new recruit. The Ithilmar Phalanx is *not* a hardcore guild, and as such there will be no attendance taken or mandatory, but everyone is more then welcome to join in if/when they wish.
We have not come to a choice as to which race we will play in Aion, or server. Will update as we clear up those topics.
Who we are:
The Ithilmar Phalanx is a spin-off guild of what was formerly named 'Why Must I suffer' on both the Siren server in FFXI and the Cenarius server on WoW. We took the name in WAR, where we began our footsteps as The Ithilmar Phalanx.
We are a casual guild, built around helping those around us. While some strive for power, we strive for respect. We want people to know that the Ithilmar Phalanx is a guild that can be counted on in any situation, be it answering a question as truthfully as possible to casting a heal on a random player. When people are looking for others to fill their group, we want them to know they can depend on us, and view us as first choice for those slots.

What The Ithilmar Phalanx is about:
The Ithilmar Phalanx isn’t aiming to be the strongest of the guilds, but a guild of friendship and camaraderie. We are going to be placing heavy focus on aiding those in need, be it simple answers, or throwing a heal out on a random player in need. The Ithilmar Phalanx will be actively involved in Questing, Dungeon Running, PvP, ECT.
Our goal is to be a helpful guild and encourage teamwork and respect of fellow players, both inside and out of our guild. We want our guild to be looked upon as one that can be trusted and respected, and as such expect our guild members to show Honor, Respect, and Loyalty to not only fellow guild mates, but also those players they pass by daily.

Guild Bonuses:
In addition to our guild forums, we also have a clan page set-up on Xfire. Will be putting heavy focus into the use of Xfire, a free to use program you can register and download at www.Xfire.com. Xfire gives IM functionality, ingame and out, guild tracking to see which guild members are online at any one time, ability to take screenshots and video, as well as free voice chat. Things are bound to change as time progresses and may eventually gravitate away from Xfire if/as needed.
